You hit the G note on the piano and began the song.

"When I was a young boy
My father took me into the city
To see a marching band
He said, 'Son, when you grow up, would you be the saviour of the broken, the beaten and the damned?'
He said, 'Will you defeat them? The demons and the all the non-believers? The plans that they have made?
Because one day, I'll leave you, a phantom, to lead you in the summer and join the black parade'," you sang.

"Of all of our songs, you just had to sing that one?" Frank asked from behind you.

You smirked and shrugged your shoulders. You then started playing a different tuns on the piano.

"Teenagers scare the living shit out of me," You sang playfully.

Frank chuckled and sat next to you.

"Really?" he asked.

"Fine, I'll sing something else," you said, raising my hands in defense.

You placed my hands back on the piano and started playing yet another song.

"Wake me up when September ends," you sang.

"That's not even My Chemical Romance!" he complained.

You laughed at his reaction.

"You're right," you agreed. "It's better."

Frank looked at you with an insulted expression and you just kissed him.

"Have you spoken to Xavier?" you asked him, after pulling away.

"Yeah, he's having fun on the school trip," he said.

"I still think allowing him to go was a mistake. I mean, what good parent would send their fifteen year old son on a school trip that's being supervised by only one teacher?"

"He'll be fine. We raised him right."

"I doubt that," you said and Frank laughed. "What about Salem?"

"Finally sleeping," Frank said in relief. "She's a fussy baby. Must get that from her mother."

You playfully rolled your eyes.

"Yeah, yeah," you said. "How about Xan and Cherry?"

"Out like a light. They had quite an eventful day of building pillow forts and binge watching Marvel movies."

Alexandria (Xan), Salem and Xavier were both yours and Frank's children. Cherry was only his daughter. He had an affair and she was the result of it. At first, you felt so betrayed by and angry with him but then when Cherry was born, you knew that you wanted to be a part of her life.

You forgave Frank and even went to couples counselling with him. You didn't want to throw twenty years together down the drain because of one infidelity.

You chuckled.

"Yep, those are our girls, alright," you said.

Frank looked at you lovingly and you just looked back with a confused face.

"What?" you asked him.

"Nothing. I just love you," he said.

"I love you too," you replied.

"No, I mean, not many people would have forgiven someone for doing what I did, let alone help raise their daughter. You're just so amazing and I love you."

"We've been together twenty years and married for fifteen of those years. I couldn't just throw all of that away."

Frank smiled and pulled you in for a deep kiss. When you two pulled away, you rested your foreheads on each other.

"You know, the girls are asleep and Xavier is not around so we can practically do what we want," Frank smirked.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" you asked back, slyly.

Frank nodded.

You grabbed his hand and went up to your guys' bedroom. The moment your bodies hit the bed, you were both out like lights.

Then Salem's cries were heard throughout the whole house.

You and Frank opened your eyes and groaned.

"I got it."
