Pranavi glanced at the mobile screen and bit her lips, not knowing how to respond to that call. First of all, she wasn't really good at communicating with strangers, moreover, the old man already displayed strong hostility towards her.

So, her social phobia instincts kicked in and she didn't want to answer it because she understood there wouldn't be any good news to hear from the old man.

Anyhow, she was sure there would be some drama when she met him later in the night, so why should she spoil her good mood for now?

With that thought in mind, she declined the call and eyed her messages inbox, only to find there was no message from Jwalin.

"Damn it. Where was he?" She muttered under her breath as the luster in her eyes dropped and a sigh escaped her lips and a pout settled on her lips as she mused, "Let him be! I don't care!"

As she decided, she stood up and followed the rest. When she was at the elevator, she was about to book a cab when Arjun beat her to it, as he mumbled softly, "Let me give you a ride."

Hearing his words, her hand that was holding the mobile trembled and for a second, she was taken aback, and raised her head and accidentally met his chocolate brown pools, unsure whether she had heard him correctly or not.

Seeing the stunned silhouette, he let out a light chuckle which was so warm that melted her insides, and he asked again with a gentle gaze and his voice was melodious which calmed her nerves, "Shall we, Pranavi?"

Pranavi foolishly gave a nod as if she was put in a spell and hopped into his car, leaving Mr. Seth and Veer dumbfounded, but they gave a knowing smile and shook their heads.

Pranavi carefully leaned her head onto the headrest and put on the seatbelt while Arjun was observing her from the corner of his eyes and his lips curled up, displaying his dimples, accentuating his handsome frame even more.

He was like a sun, radiating its brightness and showering the warmth on her gloomy day and she couldn't help but give a slight smile in return but didn't speak a word as she wasn't a good talker.

Arjun kept driving steadily and took glances at her from time to time but didn't initiate a conversation either.

Unknowingly, Pranavi drifted off to sleep, and Arjun stared at her with complicated emotions in his eyes while his jaw clenched as he held the steering wheel tightly.

When his eyes took in her facial features, he couldn't help but feel that she was familiar, but he wasn't sure when he saw her.

He even felt that she resembled his little sister when he first saw her, that was the reason he helped her in the restaurant the other day, but didn't give it much thought when he heard her name.

Since his sister's name was different!

Although her face kept popping in his head, he simply shrugged it off.

But when he again met her today, the more he eyed her, the more he felt the similarity, yet he was disappointed since she didn't show any emotion when she heard his surname and he was lost in thoughts.

But the question kept disturbing him, "Was she really not his sister?"

According to his understanding, his sister was a gem, and there was no way that she could forget his name, let alone their surname. But seeing the petite figure beside him, he couldn't help but sigh in disappointment.
