"What's happening here?" Jwalin's menacing voice rang in the hall making Rizwaan stunned while Pranavi had her gaze flickering between fuming Jwalin and worried Rizwaan.

"Jwalin, It's not what you think." Rizwaan tried to say in his nonchalant tone but it didn't help Jwalin in the least as his deep black orbs were focused on Rizwaan's hand holding Pranavi's wrist.

With each passing second, Jwalin's aura turned more sinister making Rizwaan shiver while Pranavi momentarily forgot how her hand was held by Rizwaan.

As Jwalin was rooted onto his spot, his demeanor became so intimidating and Rizwaan couldn't help but speak, his voice a little shaky yet firm, "Jwalin, don't jump to any conclusions. I swear... I have no wrong intentions."

It was then that Pranavi came to her senses and voiced as she saw Jwalin's features turning cold-blooded, her voice low yet there was a strain, "Jwalin." There was no doubt she was afraid that Jwalin might misunderstand her and Rizwaan.

"Take. Your. Hands. Off. Her!" Jwalin spoke, his fists clenched, his jaw hardened, the dangerously low sinister tone he used made Rizwaan and Pranavi tremble, and Rizwaan instantly removed his hand and took a few steps back.

It was then Jwalin's face relaxed a little but he very much looked like he wanted a kill. Seeing him that way made Pranavi worry and she couldn't help but stride to Jwalin in steady steps, hold his hand, and speak tenderly, "Jwalin, nothing happened between us. Rizwaan just wanted to talk something and brought me here. That's all!"

Seeing no movement from Jwalin, Pranavi shook him slightly, and he hummed but still hadn't spoken anything to her.

"Say something, Jwalin." Pranavi said earnestly as she didn't want this to cause any misunderstanding between them. Not when she was innocent!

Jwalin turned to face Pranavi and his gaze softened, he knew she would never go behind his back and do something as Brinda did. Not even in his wildest dreams. That much trust he had in her.

"I trust you," Jwalin stated, those three words meant more than any other promises or things he did for her in that instant.

Pranavi's eyes welled with happy tears while the corner of her lips curled upwards and she nodded.

Seeing the swirling emotions in her, Jwalin sighed and placed a hand on her shoulder, his gaze focused on her, "I'm not mad at you." With a pause, he continued, his tone again becoming hard while he narrowed his eyes at Pranavi and Rizwaan, "That doesn't mean I'm okay with what I saw earlier."

Pranavi nodded, and she explained in a hurry, "It will never happen again. He grabbed my hand all of a sudden and I was momentarily stunned. There was nothing else in that."

Rizwaan felt like he had made a grave mistake upon seeing Jwalin's face. With that, Rizwaan decided not to hide anything as he hadn't done anything wrong to Jwalin and Pranavi, "let me explain, Jwalin."

Jwalin nodded but his face didn't look good, Rizwaan opened his mouth while his face had a pained expression but he sucked it up, "I just wanted to have a talk with Pranavi so I can be free and move on."

"Sister-in-law!" Jwalin's voice boomed in the silent corridor making Rizwaan's eyes go wide.

"What?" Rizwaan queried while his body trembled.

Jwalin stated without any hesitation, "It's Sister-in-law to you, Rizwaan."

Rizwaan felt his throat constricted and he was unable to breathe for a few seconds but he composed himself, "Yes... It's Sister-in-law." It took everything in him to call her that.
