Happy Sri Ram Navami guys!
...
After a day full of boring lectures, Pranavi and Shreya were exhausted, but they still had issues to take care of, and Pranavi sighed as she discovered she was the only one going to deal with Mr.Ahuza!
"Gosh, that name was giving me a headache!" Pranavi muttered when Shreya chuckled, "Jeez, relax girl. You already have a husband. What would Mr.Ahuza do to you?"
Pranavi offered a bemused nod when she heard her remarks, but she had a sneaking suspicion that Shlok Ahuza had some thoughts on her. Although it is only her intuition, she has always believed that it is better to be cautious than to grieve afterwards!
But as she realized how Shreya had ditched her in the middle to clean up their mess again, she wanted to beat her senseless. Alas, she just couldn't do it!
Moreover, if she were to have a fight with Shreya, no doubt Shreya would be the winner as she was the martial arts queen, and in the end, she would suffer. So, except for giving up that idea, she had nothing better to do!
"Alright, stop sulking and go before he was pissed off by you!" Shreya nudged her shoulder, and she hailed a cab while she massaged her temples.
Pranavi huffed when she saw the Ahuza group of companies building and pressed her lips into a thin line, and muttered under her breath, "It's just a collaboration meeting. Not a big deal!"
Although she had been saying that to herself for quite some time, she wasn't used to meeting him alone, and the last time she had met him alone definitely didn't end up in her favor!
But what can she possibly do except sucking up!
As Pranavi gave her appointment details to the receptionist, she let her in, and Pranavi strode in with a confident look plastered on her face, although she was nervous as hell.
When she finally stopped in front of Mr. Ahuza's cabin, she couldn't help but take another look at herself and make sure she was presentable and knocked on the door when she heard a 'come in'.
She inhaled a deep breath and licked her lips, brushed her hair, and entered the office as if she were the queen of the place, what a pretense!
The moment she stepped in, his eyes landed on her, and were staring at her as if he was a hawk, and she gulped in nervousness.
"Hello, Mr. Ahuza. It's been so long since we last met!" She greeted him politely when he added in his soft tone, "Indeed, Ms.Mehta."
Hearing the softness in his voice, she thought she misheard him, but oh boy, was she?
There was a gleam in his eyes as if he was happy to see her and his thoughts were running a marathon to somehow spend some time with her and make her his girlfriend soon.
But what would he do when he got to know that she was married? To none other than, the one and only Jwalin Oberoi!
Gosh! What a pity!
Soon, Pranavi put on her presentation and began explaining to him when his focus was settled on her face and not on the things she was showing, and she frowned.
As his gaze was boring into her, she couldn't help but call his name, "Mr. Ahuza?"
Hearing his name, he blinked a couple of times and regained his composure, "yes, Pranavi."
"What the fu'k? Pranavi? He would usually call me Ms. Mehta, doesn't he?" She pondered and bit her inner cheek in worry.
"Why was he staring at you as if you were a dessert he would swallow?" Her inner voice mocked and she felt it was correct!
