...

Pranavi saw Arjun and Brijesh coming into the venue, their regal elegance oozing with every step they took, dressed in black suits, and polished shoes, their muscles hugging the suits, hair neatly styled with not a speck out of place, their gazes sharp.

They appeared cold and unapproachable but Pranavi had a bright smile plastered onto her lips and went near them, "I'm glad you both came."

Brijesh had a soft grin, "You invited us. There was no way we could miss it!"

Arjun curled his lips upwards, and threw a mocking glance at Brijesh, "If Brijesh didn't take that much time to get ready, we would've reached an hour early!"

Pranavi chuckled, "Oh my god, Brijesh brother takes that much time to get ready?"

Brijesh glared at Arjun, "Don't mind his nonsense, Pranavi."

He pulled Pranavi into a hug and Arjun joined, squeezing Pranavi in between them with their brotherly warmth, her heart screaming in happiness upon receiving their care and she wrapped her hands around both of them.

Seeing Pranavi, Arjun mumbled, "Mom wanted to come but she became busy with Dad and Aunt."

Pranavi muttered, her voice soft, "It's okay. I'm happy at least you both came."

Jwalin came to them, his hand resting on Pranavi's waist in a protective grip, "Arjun. Brijesh."Arjun and Brijesh nodded, "Jwalin."

Jwalin personally had them seated with Pranavi while people were staring at them in awe as they recognized who Arjun and Brijesh are.

As they began conversing heartily, Ranveer, Ananya, and Brinda were stunned would be an understatement.

Although Ranveer was familiar with the older generation SuryaVanshi's, his relationship is a little estranged with the younger generation as their ideologies clashed.

Arjun being toughest to get closer didn't actually help him.

Now seeing them interacting with Pranavi and Jwalin made him wonder but he didn't think much about it.

Even the other politicians and businessmen were puzzled upon seeing such a scene and decided to never ever offend Pranavi because they realized Jwalin might show them mercy if they offended him, but he would destroy the people and the families who offended his dearest wife!

Seeing Pranavi interacting smoothly with Arjun and Brijesh made Jwalin relax a little, her carefree laughter is a new melody he is becoming very fond of these days, and her twinkling brown orbs made his heart skip a beat, his gaze turning gentle while his lips tugged upwards ever so slightly.

It was then he saw a notification from Vikrant and he understood it was high time he addressed some of the issues concerning Pranavi. But the thought of leaving her with the SuryaVanshi brothers is a little unsettling to him.

With a sigh, he squeezed her waist gaining her attention, pulled her slightly away, and bent his head to her level, his voice barely above a whisper despite the noisy surroundings they were in, but the way his brows furrowed was hard to miss, "I'll be back in a while, wifey."

Pranavi frowned, not understanding the sudden seriousness, and she tugged his sleeve in worry, "what happened?"

Jwalin shook his head signaling her to not give drastic reactions when they were the center of focus, "Relax. I'll be in the building, just a little away from here."

Pranavi squinted her eyes, trying to grasp whatever the information he was willing to give, "why?"

Jwalin didn't answer and added while he traced her waist in lazy circles making her gasp as goosebumps rose on her skin, his deep voice making her putty in his arms, "Be good."

Pranavi opened her mouth but ended up saying nothing when Jwalin continued, "Deepak and the guys will be here if you need anyone. Don't roam anywhere without letting me know."

She queried, complying with his demands silently, "How long will you be gone?"

Jwalin planted a soft peck on her temple, "Not very long."

On the other hand, Seeing Nyra at the wedding made Nishitha and Brinda annoyed. Upon seeing the smiling Nyra they had an immense urge to teach her a lesson as they never get along with each other well in years!

Brinda and Nishitha walked to Nyra who was sitting alone, their faces had a gleam as if they were going to enjoy what they were going to do to Nyra.

"Nishitha, Why is the security so weak in your brother's wedding? I'm seeing this bitch here?" Brinda questioned, attracting Nyra's attention and her face sank as she guessed what their intentions are.

Nishitha answered while she twirled her hair, "I'm wondering the same. At this rate, they will even allow dogs to the wedding!"

Nyra clenched her fists and remained silent so as to not cause any trouble but Brinda chuckled, "I agree. Why don't we take this matter into our hands and get rid of her from the venue?"

Nishitha smugly smirked, "Of course we can! This is my brother's wedding. All the people invited were highly reputable people and bitches like Nyra don't get a chance to even step their foot in here!"

Nyra warned, "Mind your language, Nishitha, and Brinda!"

"My my, did you see that Brinda?" Nishitha retorted, "How easily Nyra is getting all worked up?"Brinda stated, venom dripping from her tone, "I did. It seems she's forgetting whom she's dealing with!"

With that, they held Nyra's hands from both sides making her startle, "Hey, leave me!"

But they didn't pay any heed, Brinda muttered, "It'll be fun to play with her!"

Nishitha voiced, "Totally!"

However, their happiness was short-lived as they saw Aditi coming to them with a frown, "What are you doing with her?"

Nishitha stared at Aditi, and declared, "Don't get involved in this, Aditi."

Aditi had a bad premonition upon seeing Nyra's scrunched face, "Why can't I? She's my friend!"

Nyra had a puzzled expression but decided to not say anything as she assumed Aditi as her savior today.

If it was outside, Nyra wouldn't hesitate to cause trouble to Brinda and Nishitha, but this is Jathin's wedding and she didn't want to cause any trouble here, nor let Pranavi be embarrassed with her actions as she came here as Pranavi's guest.

"Is she?" Brinda queried and Aditi nodded as she saw Nyra with Pranavi earlier. If this woman was a friend to Pranavi, then it means she must protect this woman from Brinda and Nishitha.

With that thought in mind, Aditi nodded and without giving them any chance, she held Nyra's hand, "Let's go to my table."

Brinda and Nishitha let out a frustrating groan but decided to not do anything much as they realized Nyra was having support here.

When Aditi and Nyra walked away from Brinda and Nishitha, Nyra spoke softly, "Thank you so much."

Aditi gave a polite smile, "It's not a big deal." She stared at Nyra, "I'm Aditi Oberoi. You?"

Nyra answered, "Nyra Banerjee."

Aditi nodded and inquired, "You know Pranavi?"

Nyra muttered puzzled, "Yes."

Aditi gave a low laugh, "She's my Sister-in-law. I'm glad I saved you from them then."

...

Jwalin walked to the other side of the hotel and went into a more secluded area where he had a private suite room and tapped the room card onto the lock and the door opened.

He stepped in and saw Vikram and Vikrant leisurely sitting on the sofa with a cigarette in their mouths, legs crossed, and greeted coolly, "You're finally here."

Jwalin grunted and occupied the empty seat on the sofa and lit the cigarette from the packet lying on the table, his expression serious, "What did you get?"

Vikrant placed the pictures of Ashish Ahuja on the table, "He's in our dungeon."

Jwalin let out a lazy smoke, his gaze turning sinister, "Did he say anything about Pranavi or the incident?"

Vikram shook his head in denial, "He's a tough nut to crack. Being an assassin and owner of RED, his pain tolerance level is very high."

Jwalin frowned, not liking where this was going when Vikrant muttered, "But he said someone whom you know gave the orders."

Jwalin inhaled a chunk of air at the revelation, his mind running a marathon, he queried, "Enemy of mine? Family? Business reasons?"

Vikram rubbed the cigarette onto the ash stary and mumbled, "Not sure yet. But he'll spill soon."

Listening to his words, Jwalin remained silent as he began to understand the depth of the situation at hand when Vikrant continued, "But he did say something interesting about Sister-in-law."

That piqued Jwalin's interest when Vikrant played with the globe-shaped toy resting on the table, "He gave information about Sister-in-law's orphanage. What she said is the truth and it was demolished right after Sister-in-law escaped from there."

Jwalin clenched his hands into fists as he couldn't forget the scars and the pain that the orphanage inflicted on her, "Did you find the people responsible?"

Vikram mumbled, "Yes. The two men who once abused Sister-in-law are in our dungeon now!"Jwalin's eyes gleamed, "I'll come once this wedding fiasco is complete. Make sure they feel welcomed in the dungeon."

Understanding the sinister hint, the twins chuckled, "We're already making them feel more than welcome. You'll be pleased to see their pathetic state."

...

"Come with me, Baby girl," Jwalin whispered in Pranavi's ear once Jathin put the Mangalsutra on Shreya. His gaze gleamed while a mischievous smirk playing on his lips made her narrow her eyes in speculation, but nodded upon seeing the expectant look on his face.

Jwalin held Pranavi's hand and began walking away while the people surrounding them were throwing curious glances at them but none dared to question him.

Once they were out of the crowd, Pranavi moved closer and held his bicep, leaning her head onto his shoulder and making him let out a low grin, his voice was low yet deep making her inhale a chunk of air, "What's wrong, baby girl?"

"Just tired." Pranavi voiced.

Jwalin ruffled her hair making her scowl but he didn't mind and they strode further and further away to a more secluded place. His steps took a pause once they reached the pool area, but not a soul was visible making her frown.

"What are you up to, Jwalin?" Pranavi inquired while she adjusted the hem of her saree as the heavy wind was making it difficult for her to be steady.

The night sky was bright with the full moon adorned with the brightest stars. The serenity this place was offering felt surreal to Pranavi and Jwalin cooed, "Giving you what I promised the other day, Wifey."

Pranavi stared at him with her big brown orbs and he couldn't help but pinch her cheeks, "adorable."

Pranavi had a faint red crept upon her cheeks and Jwalin took her to the table he arranged, "Sit and enjoy."

She nodded and Jwalin took that as his cue and opened the guitar hiding under the table and strode away to a perfect spot, his wide back making her breath hitch.

"You know how to play?" Pranavi blurted.

Jwalin muttered, his voice turning melodious, "It's a secret. Nobody knew but it's been ages since I last played."

Her face gleamed as the revelation dawned on her and her tummy felt as if sparks were ignited in her making her all giddy. The urge to jump onto him and kiss him hard made her bewildered but she decided that has to wait as she was too eager to see Jwalin perform for him.
