Jwalin was wide awake when it was just 04:00 in the morning. He tried to close his eyes and pretend to be asleep, hoping he would really doze off, but it was the last thing on his mind, and he finally gave up.
Stretching himself to relieve the tension in his muscles, he thought it would be better if they shifted to their new house early without much disturbance.
With that, he stood up and changed himself into a white shirt and shaded blue ripped Jeans, since it was Sunday and he had no business to attend.
His slender fingers ran through his silky hair and gave a classy messed-up look and he was pleased with the effort.
With a satisfying nod, he strode towards the sleeping Pranavi, who had apparently fallen asleep almost an hour ago.
Gazing at her, he called, "Pranavi."
As expected, she didn't respond to him, and he smirked as an idea popped into his mind.
Grabbing the water bottle that was resting on the nightstand, he opened the cap and held it in her hands but decided to call her one last time, and said in his magnetic tone, "Wake up before I pour the freezing water on you."
To his happiness, she didn't even move and he had an urge to tease her and see her angry expression. He felt she was adorable like an enraged kitten and couldn't help but anticipate.
Almost instantly, he splashed the water on her sleeping face and she was jolted awake with a shriek.
Gazing at her with water dripping from her hair to her long eyelids, down to her plump lips, he chuckled and, for the first time, she wasn't scared of it.
Eyed at him in madness while she wiped the droplets of water from her face, she cursed in fury, "What the fuck is wrong with you Jwalin?"
Smacking his lips to stop himself from laughing, he asked innocently, "What did I do?"
Hearing that, her eyes widened and, she yelled, "You were asking me what did you do?" Disbelief was written across her face when she pointed her fingers at herself and added, "Couldn't you see this?"
"Oh, I tried waking you up normally, but you're in deep slumber, I presume. So, out of no choice, I did that." He said nonchalantly while his black eyes shone in excitement.
"Holy crap. Seriously, Jwalin? Didn't you get any better ideas to torture me?" She muttered in frustration and stormed to the bathroom to change herself since she was sure she would freeze to death if she remained like that for another couple of minutes.
Listening to her cursing, and her reddened cheeks in fury, he was joyous but kept an aloof facade on his alluring face and watched her going away, while his lips curved upwards ever so slightly.
Soon, Pranavi returned in a three-fourth sleeve deep V-cut teal shirt, paired with a slim-fit black Jean, and her freshly dried hair was put in a messy bun.
She eyed Jwalin, who was barking orders on his mobile even this early and frowned.
Standing beside him, she stared at him in awe but quickly averted her gaze before he saw her, and she was seated on the nearby sofa.
When Jwalin turned towards her, she instantly asked, "Why did you wake me up?"
"We were moving." He said stiffly and peeped at her sleepy face with a slight smile on his face.
"What? Now?" Pranavi yelled, realizing his meaning, and couldn't help but blink while rubbing her eyes, which were still heavy.
He nodded and when he was about to move, she asked, "Where are we going?"
