The TRIFECTA Chap 124 More then it seems

Everyone went on their way going to clear the whole island to place there base of operation. Slayer, Shiva, and Zino took th main path where most dangerous monsters should be lingering. Yu sent Trish out to gather health materials such as herbs and plants that can create healing ointment. Her path is the least dangerous with extra plant life. Chances there be monsters are slim. Sojira, Mia, and Artemis went to aid a small village that have plenty of monster sightings in the area. There goal is to provide aid to anyone in need of it. Meanwhile Mew is still at the ship thinking to herself.

Mew: .......

Yumi: Hey.

Mew: Oh, you. Sup kid. Did you ever get the chance to talk to her?

Yumi: Not yet. She looks very tired so I'll wait till she comes back and gets a little rest.

Mew: Nice kid.

Yumi: Are you okay?

Mew: ........Yeah, I'll be fine.

Yu walk by and notice the two of them.

Yu: So you the Mew girl huh? What's your story?

Mew: [Sighs] It's complicated. It's best not to waste your time.

Yu: Hm.

Mew: Hey, why you send Trish out by herself? You seen what she looks like.

Yu: Are you saying that Trish can't handle herself?

Mew: I mean it's just that.......

Yu: She's probably tougher than me. There was a time where all of my men was injured in a desert location and with only just one arm she carried each and every one of them with her good arm and teeth saving everyone in the process. They all respect her like family. You should talk to her maybe you'll get lucky and she'll tell you her past.

Mew: With her arm?

Yu: No, eye. [Point] She's off in that direction. Go join her, she don't bite.

Mew: Smh! {Why he telling me this}

Yu: [Leaves]

Mew: ......

Yumi: (Confused) Hm?

Mew: [Sighs] I'll be right back.

Yumi: You going?

Mew: I.......just wanna check on her.

Yumi: Be careful Mew and I'm sorry for, you know.

Mew: ....... Thanks kid. [Leaves]

Yumi: ......

Meanwhile Mew walk through the same path that Trish took. There's trees everywhere and so quiet that you can even hear the insect walking on plant life. Mew gotten a bad feeling about it but continue pushing forward.

Mew: This feels odd. Where's Trish? Hm?

Mew found traces of fur abnormally on the ground. She picks it up and notice it belongs to Tobi-Kadachi.

Mew: It's already aggravated? What pissed it off? .......Trish?

Mew looks across from her and also noticed something else.

Mew: These footprints. It doesn't belong to the Tobi-Kadachi. It's something bigger. Was it being chase or........

[Trees fallen]

Mew: Huh?

Mew sees from a distance Trish running for her life while it appears a Tobi-Kadachi is chasing her.

Mew: Trish? Trish! [Running]

Mew make chase, racing the Tobi-Kadachi through the woods. While getting closer to the monster, Mew use her wirebug from the dual blades to attach it on the tail of the monster. She pull but gotten dragged from the monsters strength. She wrap around a large tree and pull. That was enough force to snatch the Tobi-Kadachi back and got it's attention.
