You can't solve a problem by only looking at one side. Situations change radically depending on who's vantage point you're looking through. Everyone you meet is dealing with or has dealt with pain and suffering. That random person who bumped into you and got mad at you for it could've just found out their parents where getting a divorce, the person who talks all the time in class may come from a family where they're told they're dumb and they won't amount to anything. You don't know the battles they're facing and they way you treat people could mean so much more to them than you could know. If your frustrated and get mad at someone already dealing with depression it could send their condition spiraling down, however if you're kind to the waiter at dinner you might comfort her after something horrible happened. You have an impact on others no matter what you do, the only thing that's uncertain is if you will cause anger and tears or bring hope and kindness into someone else's life.
