It's never too late to follow God. Wether you grew up a Christian without any doubts or you come to God as you're dying. He loves all of us and He wants us to all come to Him. He forgives everything, no matter how dark of a past you have or what you've done He still loves you. He will forgive you and guide you through the rest of your life. No life is to messed up for God to get involved in because He loves each and everyone one of us more than we can imagine. You can always stop sinning and turn to God, you might have to deal with the consequences but that doesn't mean you aren't forgiven. Just ask for forgiveness and try hard not to make the same mistake again and God forgives you the moment the words leave your mouth. Nothing can separate you from His love, even if you don't love Him in return. Don't let what's happened in the past determine what your relationship with God is in the future. That's what you do when you keep thinking God's forgiveness and love isn't big enough to cover your sin and your past. Move forward towards God without looking back on what you could've done better.
