You aren't going to work a lot for Monopoly money because it's not real. It resembles real money but it's useless, it's counterfeit. Many of us pursuing fake Monopoly money instead of what we could have. In this metaphor real money is God and the amazing life you can have with Him, everything else is fake. Yes you will have happiness and love but not as deep or vibrant as you would if it was God's love and joy from God. So many people today are living counterfeit lives thinking something else will save them our they are doing things the right way. Christians live counterfeit lives all the time thinking they are following God but really taking what God says and molding into something that works for them. That's not Christianity that's making yourself a god and living a life full of counterfeit joy, love, peace, and so many other things. You try and make yourself in charge, even you don't realize you are doing it, and it may work for awhile until someone gets sick, or people are cruel, or a disaster happens. Then the imitation of God that you have wont be enough to give you peace and joy, or to fix what's going on.
