Life isn't about deserving things. We didn't deserve Jesus dying for us as we constantly reject Him. Jesus died because of His limitless love and constant mercy there is nothing you can do to earn it. No matter the punishments you deserve He will forgive you every time. We need to do this in our own lives too, we need to stop worrying about what the other person deserves and not give out punishment. This doesn't mean don't discipline people when they make mistakes because we all need to be corrected so we can do the right thing next time. However discipline is different than acting out in anger when someone hurts you. Show them the same mercy God showed you because He is our King and we are all just servants. If our King forgives us that definitely means we should forgive our equals, and every human is your equal. God loves us all the same like a good Father loves His children. It doesn't matter if you're smart, fat, athletic, or pretty God loves you more than you will ever know.
