Devotions; Defeating the Destroyer

Day 73

Hero: a person admired for noble qualities or outstanding achievements. That's the google definition mine is a bit different. I think a hero is anyone who tries to do what is right by not just what is right, what is good. A person who will sit and talk with you when you're alone not really because it's the right thing to do but just because they don't want you to be lonely. A person who isn't super negative about everything, instead they look more on positives and keeps everyone's moral up. Someone who's not afraid to connect with people and really get to know them. That's who I think a hero should be, sure someone selfless and brace enough to put themselves in danger to save others but really that person who's just willing Robb's kind in a broken world. Heroes like that are the people we need in schools everywhere, the people we need at jobs around the world. Those heroes inspire other to be kind, considerate, empathetic, and brave and soon enough more and more people start turning into heroes all around you. Sometimes it just takes one person to remind and inspire others to be a hero. If I strived to be that hero every day I would be a much better person, much closer to the person God created me to be, and maybe I would've helped more people to do the same along the way.
