Reading the Bible can be very comforting. A lot of the time it seems to say just what you need, other times you don't understand it. That's ok no one fully understands the Bible there will always be verses or parts that confuse you. A lot of confusing bible verses you need to know the context. I'm not trying to give you an English lesson with theme and highlighting words you don't knew but when you're reading the Bible what's happening really is important. The verses around it, who is the writer writing to, what's happening historically all can make a big difference to the meaning of a verse. You don't always need them all but especially when you're confused about the meaning of the verse. The Bible can be very hard to read so don't ever hesitate or be ashamed to ask someone to explain it or answer your questions. They may not know the answer, if they don't you can ask someone else. The Bible is God's Word and truth, we should read it and we should try and understand it better. The Bible is a wonderful gift from God and we should treat it that way.
