Talk to God through out your day. He doesn't want to be put in a box and then taken out at night when you say your prayers. He wants to constantly be part of your life, He can make bad days better and good days greater. God doesn't care if you pray to Him with folded hands and a bowed head, if you pray singing with your hands raised towards Heaven, or if you pray in the car. The thing that makes a pray important is that you talk to God about what's on your mind or whatever you need to say to Him. Yes He already knows everything that's happening because He's by your side all the time and He knows your thoughts but He wants you to tell Him about it yourself. He won't force you to confess or go to Him for strength but when you do He is overjoyed. There isn't a right way to pray as long as it's about God and you're doing it. He wants to there from you like any good father wants to there from his children.
