God's greatest commandments where love God and love people. That is what us as Christians where called to do first and foremost. When you correct someone for sinning make sure it's not in a way that will turn them away from God, telling them off the bat that they're wrong and need to change isn't the best solution. Understand why they are doing it and make your position on the subject clear but talk with them, not at them or above them but with them. Listen to their responses and get to know the person. Behind every person there is a story and you can't judge someone before you understand what made them like that and what brought them to do the things they did. Understand what is important and needs to be corrected immediately and what can wait as you draw them closer to God.
