Give people a second chance. When the hurt you or others believe that they can change. Giving them a second chance does not mean giving them the opportunity to hurt you again, especially when it comes to abuse. However people do change and should get a second chance, which means you have to forgive them. Forgiveness is hard but when you don't forgive people you just give them an opportunity to hurt you. Ask God to help you forgive when you're having trouble with it. Then give the person a chance to get to improve. God died so that we could have that second chance and be forgiveness no matter how many times you mess up. He also said forgive someone seventy times seven times, which is 490 times, when they come back and truly apologize. We shouldn't deny anyone who wants a second chance because we've all screwed up a lot, and we have all been forgiven a lot, and we have gotten second chances a lot. After what God did for us we should love to give others second chances because we get to show someone the same mercy He showed us, yet we hold grudges and get angry instead of forgiving and moving on. That's not the way God wants us to live.
