Day 86

Don't just stand by and watch or listen to someone being cruel. Wether it's telling someone to stop when they are talking about someone behind their back or helping victims in need. You may not be able to change the world and stop all the wrong, it may not make a lot of difference to the world. But it makes a difference to that one person, stepping in to defend them can mean much more then you think to them. It isn't necessarily too difficult to not gossip about someone when you start a conversation but when you walk into a conversation and they're trashing someone. Do you join them, what about stand there and think it's messed up but not say anything. It's a lot harder to defend that person or to tell them it's not cool to talk about people behind their back. Talking about people happens more than you realize in your own life and most of the time you don't think about how bad it is. I'm the same way I will talk about my sister when she's not there and tell people about the way she acts sometimes. I don't mean to be cause harm by it but I am just starting to realize it can cause a lot of problems.
