Focus your mind on God before everything else. God should be the most important thing in your life and the things most of your thoughts should be on. God is the only way to eternal life and the only way to give this life any meaning. Everything else will fade away but God will still be with you tomorrow, in ten years, and for eternity. People will change, possessions will get destroyed or lost, knowledge can't save you but God can. So logically we should think about Him most and devote most of our time to Him. This is a lot harder to do in this busy world than it sounds, work, school, people, and phones all get in the way of God and He gets shoved to the back of our mind until Sunday morning or never. If you really look in your day of things that remind you of God's beauty then your mind will constantly be brought back to God, it will keep you focused on God. Not every thought has to be about God but He should be in your mind throughout the day to keep you on His path.
