God has always been my great comforter. If I'm upset I'll say His name and remember He is good and he has a plan. Sometimes I beg Him for things to go the way I think they should and I'll be at the point of tears and I'll remember Jesus' words in the garden, "not my will but yours." Other times just remembering He's there supporting me and loving me is what I need to feel better. Sometimes talking to Him doesn't help me immediately but it calms me down so even if I still feel miserable I am a little better. I've always gone to God because He already knows how I feel and what happened so I don't have to explain everything to Him and that's easier for me. He understands what we're going through because He went through the same thing when He was here on Earth. God loves you and wants you to comfort you when you're upset He's just waiting for an invitation.
