The best gift isn't something you can open or something you can get at a store. It's yourself, when you aren't being annoying or mean. When you're dying you aren't going to want all your money next to you, you aren't going, not all your degrees from college, not you trophies from sports, when you die you'll want the people who love you and who you love beside you.
Really the best thing you can do for someone else is to introduce them to God. God is the only thing that can bring people everlasting joy, hope, love, and peace. He is the only one who can save them and the only one who is bread of life. That's so much bigger than anything else you can give someone because when everything else has fallen God will still be here. Help people get know God by showing them your faith and showing them who God is. Don't hit them over the head with a bible or try and force them to God, but ships them who God really is. Help answer question they have about Him and if you don't know the answer then help them look.
