No one can fill you up and make you happy. Nothing can give you lasting peace in your life. You can't do that for someone else either. Nothing and no one in this world is Bread of Life that is needed to live a fulfilling, joyful life. Only God can do that for us, He is the only thing that will never run out but runs surplus instead. When we try anything else for a long period of time it doesn't work and we end up miserable. If we try and be Bread of Life for anyone else it burdens us and gives us pain we aren't supposed to carry and it doesn't fulfill them the way they need to be fulfilled. I have tried this with others and it wore me down so much that talking to them became a chore and I didn't want to even think about that person until I had too. I needed Jesus just as much as they did. God is the only one who fills us up with joy, peace, love, healing, and light.
