Devotions; Defeating the Destroyer

Day 72

What if you woke up tomorrow with only things you thanked God for yesterday? How much would you have on a average day, I know occasionally I would have my family sometimes some skills rarely a house or possessions. When I pray I tend to forget the praise part, I forget that everything around me God created and gave to us. It all belongs to Him and if you're reading this I know you must be blessed because you obviously have a electronic device and that also means you have money for food and shelter. Maybe you don't have it great finically but it's a lot better than some people have, when you look at all you have we really should be thankful because God gave us all of it. We need to sit sometimes and just think about all He's given us because we should never forget how much He loves us and the gifts He gives are proof of that. We couldn't do anything on our own we wouldn't have anything and we would even exist so it makes sense to thank God for everything. You would look like a jerk if someone gave you something and you didn't say thank you to them, but we do that to God all the time. So thank Him for all the blessings He gives us.
