Back in biblical times silversmiths, the guys that made stuff with silver, used a special method of purifying it. They would put all the silver melt it in a big pot over fire, all the impurities boiled to the top and the silversmith would scrap it off. They would do this multiple times until the silver was completely pure, they could tell because when all of the impurities when taken out you could look into the silver and see your reflection. God created us all in His image our goal should be being perfect like Him. God uses hard times for us to grow in our faith and become better than we ere before. It takes many trials and none of them will be fun but when you go through them you will come out closer to God than you were before and you will look more like Him as well. Looking like Him means how you speak do others, what you wear, how you work, and how you look at the world which should be through God's perspective. In everything you do think, what would Jesus do? while it might not matter when it's picking a red or blue shirt it could be extremely important when answering a text, try to do everything like Jesus would.
