Story: Nika

The waves thrashed, the skies stormy. Rain fell down in droves. Aboard the Thousand Sunny, Monkey D. Luffy took his last breath surrounded by friends. Pirate King he may be, but no one can defeat old age. After his death, the crew gave him a sea burial. His devil fruit within his casket alongside his body, it was lowered into the sea, and sunk below the waves. Years passed, the lands changed, new islands were formed and new countries had been created. The world looked nothing like it did during the age of the pirates, and more like the world we readers know. Devil Fruits were destroyed by the remnants of the World Government, all but the one fruit they couldn't find, the Hito Hito no Mi: Model Nika. More commonly known as the Gomu Gomu no Mi, or after Luffy's rise to Pirate King, the King's Fruit.

With the Gomu Gomu, it's devil knew that it was the last one. It felt it's brethren die off one by one. As a Mythical Zoan, it could see outside it's fruit, and knew that it's container was being lifted up. After 1 million and 800 years, the perfectly preserved body of the second Pirate King would be discovered in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle. It would make history, after all merely a day after finding it Quirks arrived. One theory states that Quirks were simply a prank by the Second Pirate King himself. [The second Pirate King was historically known to be a jovial but humerous man, he pranked the marines plenty of times after all] It's fruit was basically destroyed, only a few lumps of unrecognizable sludge left because of how long it'd been there. It decided that it'd rather leave it's fruit and wander aimlessly than be destroyed [even though that hunt ended mellinea ago, however it wouldnt know that. It could only feel its bretheren die], so using it's abilites it destroyed the rest of it's fruit and shot off into the sky as a specter. It had conciquinces however. There was a pregnant woman on that ship, and the baby began to glow. Without any more devil fruits left to contain their power, they were bestowed at least partially to anyone they wished. And so began the Dawn Of Quirks.

200 years later, as the Nika Specter was still looking for it's next host, it had a premonition of sorts. Of a child was to be born with no power, who only wanted to save with a smile. And as the Nika Devil, AKA the Smile Devil Fruit, he felt he found the perfect host. And so, after inhabiting the fetus inside Inko, he finally allowed himself to die. 200 years outside of a fruit had exhausted his power to the point that he could not stay alive. So he bequeathed the title Nika Devil to Izuku Midoryia. Therefore, when Izuku was born, his body stretched and constricted like rubber. During a bath, he became lethargic and even stopped moving completly when submerged. It was without a doubt one of the weirdest Mutant Quirk weaknesses ever recorded, but Inko Midoryia didn't care, after all Izuku was her baby boy.

At four years old, after witnessing Explosions pop forth from Kacchans hands, he really really wanted to do something cool like that too. And so, with such a fervent wish, his hair turned white and cloudy, smoke bellowed forth to surround his shoulders and head, and he smiled uncontrollably. Anything he imagined his body do or become, became reality. This was the point he changed the Quirk Regestry to say;
