Izuku's quirk is Music Note. It is an emitter type that allows him to, while playing music, telekenetically control all of the animated music notes that exit the instrument. His limit is 10 at first, and by controlling one over that his control gets shaky but manageable. By controlling 1 over his limit he can expand his telenetic control over his music notes. Also, for some strange reason it needs to be semi-retro video game music. Songs like Megalovania [or really any Undertale song], Super Mario theme song, or LoZ Overworld Theme to name a few examples. It also allows him to pick up instruments faster, but not instantly.
[Also I'd just like to say, in this Izuku made Undertale not Toby Fox. IRL Toby Fox made it, but in this AU Izuku did. Hopes and Dreams is Izuku's theme song. Izuku represents Asreal and Chara represents how he sees Bakugo after getting explosion. Too far gone to really re-connect to.]
Depending on the "seriousness" and emotion of the song diffrent things can happen to the music notes. [I will also add an example like this]
- If the song played gives gamers PTSD or is associated with hard, serious fights it turns deep blue and deals more damage. [Megalovania, Cynthia's Theme]
- If the song is not associated with serious fights or has light-hearted connotations, they turn a vibrant orange and make the person have extreme nauesa when hit. The nausea also stacks. [Bonetrousle]
- If the song is associated with joyfulness and serenity the notes turn a royal purple and make the opponent feel very happy and less likely to fight when hit. It stacks. [Mario Theme]
- If the song is associated with anger, stress or anxiety it turns a blood red and cuts opponent like a blade would. Blood users love the color. [Endless Stairs Mario 64]
- If the song is associated with fear, then the notes turn a sickly grey, and instantly activates the "flight" in Fight or Flight in opponents it hits. Extremely effective on Nomu or animals, as they'll ignore any orders to run. [Undertale OST: 078 - You Idiot] (Yes it's the song's name. I'm not calling you an idiot)
- If the song is associated with health or recovery it turns a "healthy green" and heals opponents. [Great Fairy LoZ]
- If the song is associated with death then the notes turn a void black and disintegrate whatever they touch. (Similar to Tomura, and where the "Monsters turn to Dust" inspiration came from) [Game Over Music]
- If the song played is associated with sadness it turns a light blue and makes opponents hit cry endlessly. Useful for disrupting visual quirks. [Undertale OST: 071 - Undertale]
- If the song is associated with adventure and hope then the music notes are rainbow. They vibrate and pop in the air, spreading to anyone that hears. It will inspire hope within those effected. Izuku can select those he does not want to be effected with a bubble of his telekenetic power, though they cannot feel or see it unless they are a telekenetic themself. [Legend of Zelda (LoZ) Overworld Theme, Hopes and Dreams from Undertale]
- Any other emotions I missed you are free to interpret however you want within the rules! Also to clarify its how society interprets the music, not Izuku.
"Playing Music" is a vague term for a reason. He doesn't need to have an instrument, but it does help. He could rhythmically slap diffrent parts of his body, or tap the desk to play music and it'd work. By having an instrument it expands his telekenetic control though. For instance if it is not an instrument he is playing music on, his telekenetic control is cut by half. [So if Izuku's control is 10, he goes down to 5 by not using an instrument. If it's a number that can't be halved, it will go 1 over "half".]
