Izuku's quirk is Spore. It's an Emitter type that allows him to create custom creatures that he can summon, with custom powers. It is unlocked when touching the cartridge to a Spore game.
The summoned creatures act according to the command they're spawned in on. For instance Izuku could think "Attack Shigariki" while summoning them and they will obey, however any further commands after summoning needs to be said verbally, even if they cannot hear him.
Creation of Izuku's creatures are linked to the cartridge. Whatever Izuku creates in the game Izuku can summon. Once fully created, Izuku can customize what Quirk to give them in his mindscape. There can only be one creature per cartridge, and Izuku can only use 5 cartridges at a time. He can swap a cartridge for a diffrent one. Linking one above his limit strains his quirk, and he can train it that way.
Quirk Creation is tricky. Parts of Izuku's Quirk Factor act like stem cells, creating any quirk Izuku can think of. However the downside to this is that Izuku can't use it all up or he starts damaging his own quirk irreparably. These Stem Quirk Factor Cells can replenish themselves after a good 8 hour sleep. He also cannot edit a quirk after it is given to a species of creature, the power is permanent.
