Izuku's quirk is Hair Spikes. It's a Transformation/Mutation type that allows Izuku to turn his hair into spikes. This includes shin hair, foot hair, arm hair, and even his pubic hair if he really wanted to. All that matters is that it's Izuku's hair, not where on his body it is. The Mutation aspect comes from the small, almost invisible hairs covering the rest of his body that usually wouldn't have hair. For instance, his palms or the bottoms of his feet.
These spikes are made using keratin, so eating foods that have an abundance of keratin is vital for usage. They can extend to be just at 2 yards at four years old and 8 yards at fourteen years old while untrained. With training, they can reach lengths of 50 feet at maximum. Peirceing power is strong enough to peirce steel, but fully trained is strong enough for tungsten.
