Rhea POV:

I was worried. About Y/N. I had been so caught up with making a storyline with Dom that I hadn't even given a thought about how she might've felt about it. And now, we weren't champions, and we weren't a team, she left that night without talking, avoiding everyone and she hadn't gotten much better now. It felt like she had shut down, like she was avoiding everything, I felt terrible. If I had just trained with her, prepared myself then maybe, just maybe, we wouldn't have lost, and I wouldn't have lost the cheerful, happy, energetic wife that I knew too well.

Y/N POV:

I knew I was avoiding everything, hiding from life, Demi was clearly worried, so was Ben, but I couldn't do anything, it was fault me and demi weren't working as a team when we should've been and it cost us greatly. I didn't exactly want to go out today Ben had a wrestling competition against a neighbouring school that also specialises in in-ring wrestling and I wasn't going to miss that. His gear had arrived at the start of the week, it was inspired by his other hobby, basketball, more specifically, his basketball idol, Michael Jordan. He designed the silhouette of it and I sent it to my designer to have it made in his size.

(The bra is more of halter top, so a bit longer and doesn't show as much of the chest)

I came downstairs, dressed, makeup done and hair tied back, Ben was packing his bag and demi was making his lunch.

"mom! you're coming?" my son shouted running over to me and hugging me. "of course I'm coming! I keep my promises" I replied wrapping my arms around him and swinging him from side to side playfully. Him seeing me come downstairs, ready to go really lightened his mood. Demi walked over with a bag, it had snacks in and a few bottles of water, there was still a lot of tension between us, I didn't quite know what she was feeling, but a lot of the tension had sprung from our loss at summerslam, so, whether she blamed herself or me, the tension was real and there wasn't a lot that could break it. "mom, can I talk to you?" Ben said, tugging on my arm, diverting my attention from my wife to him. "sure Bud, but make it quick, we have to go soon"

He sat me down and Demi gave us some privacy by fetching Maya to take her to the car. "you need to talk to mom, about you two. She's really worried about you, so am I, I wanna know why you've been so distant" I smiled at him "I let jealousy get the better of me, and we lost because of that. I haven't forgiven myself, so I don't expect her to either." he looked at me with genuine confusion. "Funny you should say that, Mom thinks that it's her fault you lost, she didn't act like a team player when you needed her and that's what cost you. You're both a lot similar than you think, so, if not for yourself, for me and Maya, talk to her, and sort things out" He said, standing up to go to the car. Ben was a smart kid, he really opened up my mind and allowed me to see that everything he was saying, was true, she did feel that way, I could see it in her face, so I would talk to her, and we would sort this out. She might not be able to change my thoughts on Dominik's storyline, and about me possibly leaving to go solo, but that shouldn't affect our out of ring life, especially not our relationship; at least, not the way it was.

I followed the rest of my family to the care and Demi drove us to the gymnasium where the competition was being held and I instructed Ben to get changed, which, gave me the opportunity to talk to Demi. We sat down at the bleachers and after a moment Demi left me and Maya to get a few sodas for the both of us. She came back and passed a coke to me before sitting back down "so, you talked to Ben. you know how I feel, so what are we going to do about it." she said, cracking open the can. "yeah, but you don't understand, and I didn't realise just how similarly we felt about the situation" "Y/N I-" "no, please, just let me say this. It's okay, we both blamed ourselves for losing. You didn't think you were training and being a good team player, and I let jealousy get it the way of our championships" "jealousy? Why would you be jealous" I sighed at her. "Dominik, I know, it sound stupid, but like I didn't want you getting our storylines mixed up. It annoyed me and it clouded my judgment but I'm happy as long as you're happy. I can work around it"  she smiled and hugged me "you sure?" she asked rubbing my arm, I nodded in response and I could feel her smile against the top of my head. Ben made his way over to the ring just in time to see us together, I knew it would make him happy to see a smile on his parents' faces, and it did, I could see the corners of his mouth stretching outward as he saw the two of us. He shook himself down and stared at his opponent, it was a guy, a lot taller than ben, and he looked pretty strong, but we knew our son's limits, and this would be a piece of cake for him...
