Request - I wonder if your able to do like the pregnancy months to labor of like y/n and Kayce and Tate being a small family like some familial fluff

Eight Weeks

You looked at the two little pink lines on the stick in your hands. Third time must be the charm...you were pregnant. While you and Kayce hadn't been possessive about trying for a baby the past few months, you had thrown your birth control away in hopes that God would decide soon.

"Kayce!" You called out, the smile on your lips growing by the second.

You turned and walked out of the bathroom, down the hall into the den area. Not seeing your husband, you stepped outside on the back porch and saw Kayce standing next to Tate, showing him how to load his new shotgun he got form his grandpa for Christmas. It was cold but you didn't care.

"Kayce!" You yelled, waving when Kayce turned around.

"Get in the house, woman," Kayce rolled his eyes. "It's freezing out here!"

"I'm pregnant, you idiot!" You called back, enjoying how Kayce's face went from annoyed, to shocked, to happy in about three seconds before he was running over to you, Tate followed closely behind.

Twenty Weeks

You didn't want a gender reveal. Large crowds, all looking at you scared you. So, your idea of a gender reveal party was you and Kayce, waiting in your doctors office.

You were up on the bed, hands clasped together while you waited for the doctor to come back with your results and your stats on your checkup. Kayce was standing next to you, his eyes dancing across the posters on the wall.

"Okay, Mr. and Mrs. Dutton," Dr. Johnston came in. "Yu ready for your reveal?"

"Yes," You took a deep breath, glancing up at Kayce.

Kayce took your hand in his, his thumb rubbing the back of your hand softly.

Dr. Johnston handed you a folder. You took it, releasing Kayce's hand, and opened it slowly. Kayce wrapped his arm around your shoulder, his lips pressed against the back of your head.

Gender: Male

You felt tears come to your eyes. You were going to have a little boy...a little Kayce. You read over the words a few more times before you looked up at Kayce. His eyes were glossy as he smiled down at you, his lips pressing a kiss to your forehead.

"A boy," You whispered, your eyes shutting as you leaned into Kayce.

Twenty-Eight Weeks

"Babe!" You called from where you were laying on your bed.

You listened but didn't hear anything.

"Kace?" You called again.

"He's outside," Tate walked into the bedroom.

"Hey," You smiled. "Do you think you could do me a favor?"

"Sure," Tate shrugged.

"Could you go get me an ice pack from the freezer?" You sighed.

"Why do you need an ice pack?" Tate asked.

"Because my back is killing me," You frowned. "And since your dad isn't here to rub my back, it's the next best thing."

"I'll rub your back," Tate walked over to your side of the bed.

"You...will?" You looked up shocked.

"Yeah," Tate shrugged. "You rub mine when I'm sick."

You thought you were going to cry as Tate wiggled in behind you and started rubbing small circles on down your spin. You sighed with relief, finally being able to relax from the past three hours of tossing and turning.

That's how Kayce found you and Tate a few hours later. Both passed out in bed with the TV playing Tate's favorite movie in the background.

Thirty-Six Weeks

"I'm a fucking cow," You cried as your tried to pull your shirt over your stomach.

"You're not a cow," Kayce rolled his eyes from where he was sitting on the bed watching you get ready.

You gave up on the shirt, pulling it over your head and throwing it somewhere in the room. You huffed, feeling like you wanted to bawl your eyes out from being so uncomfortable and large.

"I'm not going," You growled.

"You need to go," Kayce smiled. "You'll hate yourself if you miss Tate's last day of elementary school."

"I can't even fit through the fucking doors," You threw your hands up. "How am I supposed to even get in there?"

"Baby," Kayce stood up and walked over to you, placing his hands in your shoulders. "You know you're incredibly sexy right now, don't you?"

"Just because I have makeup on for the first time in seven months," You grumbled.

"No," Kayce turned you to face the mirror. "Because you're growing life inside you right now. You're growing our boy."

"If you're sweet to me you know I'll cry," You sniffed, leaning back into Kayce's chest.

"You're beautiful," Kayce kissed the back of your head. "And Tate don't care what you wear, he just wants you there."

"Even if I go naked?" You asked.

Kayce hands tightened on your shoulders.

"Not a chance in hell," He laughed.

Thirty-Nine Weeks

Seven hours of labor later, and you were sitting on your hospital bed, holding your newborn baby boy. He was perfect, ten fingers and ten toes. Kayce was next to you, his arm wrapped around you while his finger ran under the little one's chin. The tiny human smacked his lips before snuggling into your arms more. Slowly the door opened up and Tate peaked his head around the corner.

"Hey buddy," Kayce whispered, holding his hand out. "Come here."

Tate walked over to your other side and peered down.

"He's so tiny," Tate said.

"He's excited to meet you," You smiled, reaching over with one hand to smooth Tate's hair down. "Do you want to hold him?"

"Is it safe?" Tate asked you.

"Sure," You laughed, scooting closer to Kayce. "Sit with me."

Tate got up on the bed with you and leaned against you, your arm mimicking Kayce's around you as you pulled Tate into you.

"Easy, buddy," Kayce said as you handed your baby boy over to Tate.

Tate was stoic as he held his little brother, his eyes not leaving the bundle in his arms. You leaned your head against Kayce's as you watched Tate, tears in your eyes with how happy you were in this moment.

"What's his name?" Tate asked softly.

You looked up at Kayce.

"John," Kayce said, his arm around you tightening.

"Hey, John," Tate whispered.

You leaned over and kissed Tate's head, your little family complete now.
