Request - The reader is pregnant and very hormonal and well she tries to hide it because she thinks it's embarrassing because when she was growing up she was taught you cry if your weak, but Kayce shows her it's ok and just comforts her every time and is really sweet.

You were still in the truck, trying to get your emotions under control. After running a few errands in town, you were thirsty and decided to pick up a drink at a new coffee shop. Kayce would never have gone there, so you took the opportunity of him not being with you and walked into the new place.

You were the genius who chose to get pregnant during the summer months, so you were hot, your hair messy, and everything seemed to stick to your skin in the most uncomfortable way.

You were seven months pregnant, your little bump just now becoming a more prominent staple in your appearance. When you got to the counter you ordered a peach tea lemonade and handed the younger guy your card.

"It's on us," He smiled at you.

"What do you mean?" You asked, confused.

"Congratulations," He motioned to your stomach. "My mom put into place that people get discounts...expecting moms is one of them."

"That's...so nice," You smiled.

As you walked over to wait for your order, something happened. You thought about the simple act, how this place was new and probably needed the money, but they offered you a free drink.

You hadn't realized you were crying until the guy went to hand you your tea and looked worried. You told him you were fine but ended up crying all the way home.

Your truck door opening made you jump. Kayce was standing there, looking concerned at your face.

"What happened?" Kayce asked,

"N-Nothing," You sniffed but knew you had been caught. "This kid was just really nice and gave me a free tea."

"And that...made you cry?" Kayce raised an eyebrow.

"I know it's stupid," You sighed. "Blame on the hormones."

"Come inside," Kayce chuckled, holding his hand out for you to take. "We've got that dinner later."

You let out a loud groan as you fell backward from where you had been sitting on the bed. You had been trying to tug your boots on, but your stomach was in the way. You couldn't bend like normal, and you had tears in your eyes.

"Babe, we gotta go," Kayce walked in and saw you. "What're you doing?"

"Just go without me," You sighed.

"What?" Kayce walked over to you. "Y/N...come on."

"No!" You snapped, looking up at him. "I'm just fat and will hold you back."

"Y/N," Kayce shook his head, a smirk on his lips.

"I can't even get my fucking boots on," You continued. "I'm useless."

"You're pregnant," Kayce leaned down and wiggled your boots on for you.

After he tugged them up, you sat up on the bed. You were feeling miserable about yourself right now, but Kayce's golden eyes were looking at you like you were the prettiest thing in the room.

"Thanks," You wiped under your eyes. "Sorry."

"I like that you need me more," Kayce smiled. "You're so stubborn and independent that it's kind of been nice to help you out with things more."

"You don't think I'm pathetic?" You asked him.

"No," Kayce stood up and offered you, his hands. "I do think you're pretty."

You slowly stood up and blushed.

"I feel silly crying about things like this," You sighed. "I knew I'd need help...just didn't think I need help doing things like getting dressed."

"Well, that's what I'm here for," Kayce cupped your cheek. "And for the undressing of course."

"Oh sure," You rolled your eyes while you rubbed over your stomach. "Because nothing says jump me like all of this."

"You'd be surprised," Kayce leaned in and kissed your lips. "You ready?"

"Yeah," You smiled. "Thank you."

Kayce laced his fingers with yours as he led you out of the bedroom.
