Some comments aren't deep but they are
When someone has anxiety or ptsd what
Might be shallow to you to has layers to
Another but we over react to you you just
Don't know the language of hurt people
You can't learn it either unless you too
Grew up questioning your family dynamics
Hell even if you're abnormal in society's eyes
Also known as neurodivergent we react in
Ways you don't see how because or brains
They're wired differently than yours is so
Yeah we take everything on a deeper level
Some comments aren't deep but they are

We'll either take something literally at face value
Or we'll think your comment has more meaning to it
We don't fit in with normal people but
No one is truly normal just different yet
The same in some ways to the rest of us
But we always fight because we took it
The wrong way from what you meant yet
You blame us for you not being more clear
And yet I've always heard comments about
My weight that it's just an annoyance like
I'm happy you just don't like how someone
Looks and you comments about your dismay
That's a shallow comment yet everyone
Has most likely heard it from someone once
Some comments aren't deep but they are

And yet someone makes a comment about
An activity with people I don't know I take it
Deeply because I've seen how Nightmares
Pretend to be human grew up in hell chose
To survive instead of thrive in it but Nightmares
They don't change just the mask they wear
Trust and lies one breaks easy the other
For some it's like breathing you don't know
What they say is the truth gotta look deep
And even then the lie could be so good you
Just accept it as the truth I know because
That sums up my childhood gotta ignore
The void that's whispering so sickly about
My shortcomings or trying to drag me down
The lane of memories I wish were just ash
Yet I'm forced from the cliff like it snapped
Forced to fight the thoughts that desperately
Want me to drown in the depressive spiral
Relieve the pain of my life for its burned into
My soul and mind with in the mind forever
To be known just to get used to the misery
Misery's misfit it what my childhood was
Some comments aren't deep but they are
