Hell it can even be the light that shines
In the void of darkness your in
But I'm speaking from experience on that

It's a way to express yourself
You as the fan or the artist
Two sides of the same coin
Just different roles

There's songs that I relate to
By people who have helped me without knowing it
I've always gone to Music to calm down
Maybe help me reestablish the mask
Around others truth is It's a bit of both

But all art is powerful
I just appreciate Music the most
It was my light in a never ending void
Of darkness but now there's light in the void
But that's not to say the light lasts
There's days where the void is darker
Than what light Music provides me

Things about myself while also
Being a healthy way to cope with
Horrors of my past but I know there's
More horrors locked behind that ashen haze

But my friends probably have a different
