Time is something we take for granted
When you're a kid you think you have all
The time in the world but it doesn't work like that
When you start school you feel like Time
Could be better spent for me that is
Time is something we take for granted

Hug you family as much as you can
You never know what will happen
In this world they could be robbed from you
Then you feel like you spent to little of time with them
I know I do I constantly feel this way
Time is something we take for granted

I never really paid attention to time
Now here I am twenty years old
Traumatized and haunted from my past
I didn't plan for the time I'm an adult
Now I'm paying the price for my idiocy
Time is something we take for granted

There's times where all I can think about
Is how much I wish I spent more time
With my uncle and his dad because now
They're both dead and I have little of them
But the lessons they taught me stuck
Time is something we take for granted

Sometimes all I can think about is how
The voice in my head courtesy of psychosis
I right about me I'm just a mistake
Worthless trash, waste of space fuck up
I listen to music to block him out
Time is something we take for granted

Other times I'm constantly thinking
About self harm or suicide
With few to talk to about it not without
Feeling like a nuisance or a burden
To who I'm talking too
Suffering in silence is my  route
Time is something we take for granted

Most times I want to hangout with friends
But they're usually busy with work
I don't want to bother them on their day off
So I just waste my time alone in my room
Just planning to hangout is stressful for
Me because lack of transportation
Sometimes it's just my social battery is to low
Others things come up and the plans change
Time is something we take for granted
