Lots of people drink
It could be for various reasons
But the one thing in common
Is when you drink you change completely
Lots of people drink
Some can hold their alcohol better
Some are lightweights I'm the first
But the alcohol can become an addiction
Just like any other substance
Lots of people drink
People say weed is the gateway drug
The truth is trauma is the real gateway
I'm terrified I'll become dependent on
Alcohol to run from my horror filled past
Lots of people drink
The thing is I enjoy the burn of alcohol
The taste well that's yet to be acquired
But if I'm mad enough taste and smell
It becomes meaningless just the burn
The burn is the best part reminds me
That I'm actually alive
Lots of people drink
But they become different people
Some are an angry drunk
One might become the group clown
Another might be philosophical
It all depends on a bunch of variables
Lots of people drink
I'm just glad I'm not an angry drunk
I'm more of a clown sometimes I flirt
But it's better than being a violent drunk
Anything is better than an angry drunk
Lots of people drink
Sometimes is just to casual relax
Maybe it's in celebration
But as long as you're responsible
And don't drink and drive
It's alright unless you're an angry drunk
You should just find something else
Lots of people drink
There's so many dangers to drinking so
You should always be responsible
Have a designated driver if you're
Going somewhere
Only drink what you know you can handle
Always be able to have someone
Willing to spend the night to watch you
Don't want to die because you chocked on your vomit
Try to sleep on your side to lower the risk of the previously mentioned
