I was 7 or 8 when I lost someone who meant the world to me
When that happened a part of me died with you
Three years later it happened again and again I felt a piece of me had died
The sadness that overwhelmed me made me numb
The things we did together just never felt the same
It always felt hollow to me
I'm always wondering what you think of me now
Always wondering if I'm someone you could be proud of
To be able to say that's my nephew and grandson respectively
That's always something I strive to be
Even though you're both dead
I strive to be someone you can be proud of
Just writing this is making me teary eyed
The sadness of losing you two
Hasn't gone away it never will you meant the world to me and it hurts
Knowing I can never see you smile again
Or hear your laughs (fuck)
You guys were the brightest moments of my life
You guys were the world to me
