Change we all seek it
Seeking is easy
Achieving is where it gets tricky
You can want change for anything
But most people want to change themselves
Change we all seek it

I want to change my jagged smirk
Make it into something genuine
I want to change my thoughts of myself
I've alway been told I was a nobody
Even feeling like I'm a ghost
But I'm somebody to my friends
Yet I can never shake the
Feelings of being a ghost under the radar
Change we all seek it

I want to change myself for I'm broken
I've learned I'm no better then my abuser
I'm narcissistic and egotistical
It doesn't show but it's there
I want to get rid of the fake mask
Want to abandon it let it be forgotten
Like I was maybe then I won't have
A need to wear the mask but it's still there
Change we all seek it

I want to be someone but I'm a nobody
Just a person out of a billion
No clue if I'll ever publish all these words
Into an actual book just keep writing
Because it's a way to express myself
The thing is I don't think these works
Will ever become very popular
But hey I've made some great lines

I want to change and be proud of
My other works but they're just there
I'm only proud of four of them
Because I know that people can relate to them
Those four are voice, scars, normal, and mask
Voice because you need to speak
Out against abuse or else it continues
Scars because we all got them
Normal well that's for everyone
With a severe mental illness wishing
They just had depression or anxiety instead
Mask that's for everyone who feels the
Need to hide who they truly are
Change we all seek it

But the thing I really wish to change are
The thoughts of I'm unlovable just a mistake
Yeah I was a mistake but I'm still thriving
Became numb to the hell around me
To thrive and survive it
Just to spite my abusers
Prove to them they may have broken me
But I'm still kicking in the game called life
