Blood without it we die
Yet I harm myself to taste it
The metal taste of blood is addicting
From what I can remember I was always like this
Blood doesn't bother me
Blood without it we die
The Blood I taste is my own
Probably because my own Blood
Was always in my mouth growing up
Shitty up bringing and all that
Blood without it we die
The thing though the Blood in my mouth
Rarely was my doing I think at least
My memories they've all bleed together
Or are locked away for my safety
Blood without it we die
There's always an urge to self harm for me
When I'm spiraling I feel so much
Then well then nothing
Just numb to the things around me
Even the wound in my mouth
I'll Bleed it dry like every wound I can
Blood without it we die
The texture of it is smooth to me
Yet thick at the same time
It's a catch 22 thing
But it doesn't stop me
Blood without it we die
When I'm spiraling all I can think is Pain
The pain from my past
The wounds that never seem to heal
Either way too much at once
Drives me to lash out or harm myself
The second is the favorable action
Blood without it we die
Spiraling it never ends well for me
Lashing out, cutting, biting, and punching
Something to get the emotions out
Anything to forget how much I hate
This miserable planet
Blood without it we die
There's no joy to life
It's just constant misery
Waiting for my next spiraling episode
Drawing more blood from new wounds
Blood without it we die
