The world is full of horrors
Yet we have a holiday celebrating
Horror icons yet people don't know
The origins of this celebration
Which by the way was a pagan holiday first
It was known as the devil's night
But that's all I know about that
The world is full of horrors

Thing the horrors usually stem from people
I would know from experience
The hell that was around me growing up
Hatred from just not being good enough
Abuse to learn "how to please a woman"
The amount of hatred that was in that
Hell house it's a miracle no demons lurk in it
Oh wait there are I suffered first hand by them
The world is full of horrors

Those who seem overly nice well
They just want to use you in their sick game
Thing is it's always the nice mask
In front of other but behind closed doors
They become a monster and I had no choice
But to endure the suffering I went through
The horrors I've experienced they fucked
Me up real good mind it was shattered
The world is full of horrors

The amount of violence in this world
It's downright sickening we value strength
And power because it's a dog eat dog world
It's only like that because of those with power
No matter the situation they think that
They have the rights to torment the weak
The unfortunate who are just trying
To survive in a world that chews
Them up just to spit them out
As someone who's completely changed
The world is full of horrors

The amount of hate around the world
It's just down right saddening we only
Make in this world through the
Help of others but not everyone
Is willing to help others out they see
The struggle and mock them for it
Just because one doesn't fit into
The predetermined boxes does it mean it's
Okay to mock them because their different

The amount of things those who are different
Go through just for simply being different
Reminds me how terrible most humans are
Yet they say we were made in God's image
It's ironic to me so to speak because
If that's true God is just as horrible if not worse than
His creations let's look at how many
Of his flock has abused children too many

Yet they only get a slap on the wrist
And relocated to a new church
Cause the cycle to continue but why is that
Because power the more power someone has
The more atrocities they can get away with
Hell just look to any fucking government
Let's use the USA for example
The land this country is was stolen from natives
Who mind you the settlers poisoned and killed
The main working force were people
Stolen from their home
And forced to work for rich people
The world is full of horrors

The wars are another great example of horror
Look at mustard gas it's so horrifying that
It was made a war crime to use anything like it
The amount of things people in wars
Go through is down right sickening
Seeing someone you know getting killed
In front of you makes you question why
Am I the lucky one who's going home to friends and family
The world is full of horrors

The most horrifying thing is how
Getting help for mental illnesses
Is unavailable for most people
The world around just tells you toughen up
But there's no way to toughen up from
The horrors people can put you through
Eventually it just breaks you
You don't know what a nice person is like
Your wary of everyone you meet
Expecting everyone go stab you in the back
I know I'm always waiting for a new knife
To add to my collection of life lessons

There's only so much one can endure
Before they lose hope in the world
Thoughts of ending the battle
By ending their life the thoughts
They've become one with me
And if you do push on you got
Scars that lurk in your shadows
Ghosts of pain suffered from the
Hatred of others feeling like
You're not normal like you
Changed for the worse
The world is full of horrors

Gotta find the strength to push on
Ignore the darkness of that void in you
Find some light in the seemingly
Never ending darkness find some
Beauty in this horror filled world
Find something that makes you giddy
Fear what might trigger your ptsd
Don't put on the mask to make
Others be happy be yourself
Pick up the parts to yourself salvage what you can
