The Mikaelsons React: Vampire Movies

 So, I tried to think of vampire movies I have actually sat and watched (I don't watch movies very often). Let's see what the Mikaelsons think. 
 Let's with one of the most famous vampire movies ever.

Reactions to Nosferatu (1922 silent film)

Elijah: That one wasn't horrible.

Klaus: Yes, it was.

Kol: Lame.

Freya: I thought it was okay.

Rebekah: Please tell me there are better vampire movies out there.

Finn: Are there any that are good?


Reactions to Dracula (1977 BBC version)

Klaus: I suppose that one was a little better.

Elijah: From what I remember of the book, it stuck rather close.

Rebekah: This is boring.

Kol: I agree.

Finn: So do I.

Freya: You're seriously not liking this? It's better than Klaus plotting to take over the world, isn't it?

Elijah: Maybe we should just go to the next movie.


Reactions to The Lost Boys

Finn: Is that it?

Klaus: Those were not vampires! Those were a bunch of teenage punks!

Freya: They were vampires, Klaus.

Kol: Why did they all just live in that one little town? How many actual humans lived there if it was overrun with vampires?

Elijah: It wasn't that bad.

Rebekah: You really are too nice, Elijah.

Klaus: I hate all of these movies so far.

Well, at least he's not somewhere plotting his rise to evil overlord.


Reactions to Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992)

Elijah: That was good.

Freya: Yeah, it was.

Rebekah: It was better than the other ones.

Kol: Why does Dracula get all his own movies?

Finn: Apparently, he's a celebrity in the vampire world.

Klaus: What, and no one thought to give us our own movie?

You guys already have your own TV show. Now you want a movie, too?


Reactions to Underworld (the first one)

Freya: I liked that one.

Klaus: They got the story all wrong! We were the first vampires, not whoever they said in the movie! And everyone knows it's Father's fault the vampires and werewolves hate each other!

Mikael: I can hear you, you know.

Klaus: You're back? Hasn't anyone ever told you you're an annoying pest?

Mikael: Don't forget that I'm a ghost now, Niklaus. I can come and torment you if I want.

Elijah: Can we please move on to the next movie?

That's a good idea.

Reactions to Van Helsing (2004)

Mikael: Just a minute! If anyone should be judging a movie about a vampire hunter, it should be me, the first vampire hunter.

Klaus: Maybe no one cares about your opinion.

Finn: I found it interesting.

Kol: It was one of the better ones we've seen.

Freya: Would you guys stop arguing? Father, it was kind of your fault that the feud between the vampires and werewolves started.

Mikael: Very well. I own up to it. But Niklaus could have also had something to do with it.

Klaus: Oh, you always find a way to blame me for things, don't you?

Elijah: Maybe we should put on the next movie.

Van Helsing is a good movie, people. The Mikaelsons are just grouchy.


Reactions to Dracula (1979 film starring Frank Langella)

Kol: It was too romantic.

Freya: I think they got the story mixed up.

Elijah: It says this is a retelling of Dracula. It's not the original story.

Finn: I'm going to have to read the book.

Rebekah: I liked it.

Klaus: Of course you did. I thought it was stupid.

Reactions to Interview with the Vampire

Finn: That one was actually good.

Elijah: I liked it.

Freya: Me too.

Rebekah: It wasn't horrible.

Kol: It was better than some other ones.

(Everyone looks at Klaus)

Klaus: I suppose it was exceptional. But a movie about me would be better.


Reactions to Dark Shadows (2012 movie)

Elijah: That one was good.

Kol: Not bad.

Freya: I liked it.

Klaus: Boring. Moving on.


Reactions to Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

Klaus: Finally, something with real action in it!

Dude, did you not actually watch Underworld? There's all kinds of violence in those movies.

Elijah: Abraham Lincoln was a vampire hunter?

Kol: Oh, please. I doubt that actually happened.

Rebekah: How would you know? You were daggered in a coffin.

Kol: Well, so were you.

Finn: So was I.

(All three look at Klaus)

Klaus: You're never going to get over that, are you?


Reactions to Vampire Academy

Kol: What was that?

Finn: That was incredibly stupid.

Rebekah: It wasn't that bad.

Freya: I think the books were better.

Klaus: There was nothing good about that movie!

Elijah: It wasn't completely horrible.

Kol: Then you have bad taste in movies, Elijah.

Okay, so there's still one more.

Freya: Guys, I saw this movie on TV once. You're not going to like it.

Kol: It can't be worse than the other ones we've seen.

Elijah: She's serious.

Finn: At least someone here is.

Klaus: Can we just watch it and get it over with?


Reactions to Twilight

(Everyone sits staring at the television screen)

Mikael: That was absolutely ridiculous!

Freya: I thought you left.

Mikael: No, I've just been very quiet. I thought that last one about the schoolgirls was bad, but this is worse.

Kol: In short, it sucked.

Finn: It was horrible.

Klaus: (gets up, takes DVD, and throws it out the nearest window) GOOD RIDDANCE! Vampires sparkling in the sun! That's the stupidest thing ever!

Rebekah: It wasn't as bad as you're making it out to be.

Mikael: For once, I agree with Klaus. That was horrible.

Elijah: Was it really necessary to throw that tape out a window, Niklaus?

Klaus: Of course it was! It was stupid, ridiculous, unbelievable, insulting, a complete-

Okay, let's not go too far with the insults, Klaus.

Kol: It was bad. Really bad.

Klaus: Who invented that!? I will hunt them down and destroy them!

Freya: It was a book that someone wrote.

Kol: Then they're stupid.

Elijah: You shouldn't go around killing people just because they got a story wrong.

Klaus: This is the perfect time to kill someone!

Kol: So, first we kill the author. Then we kill the people involved in the movie.

Rebekah: Well, I'll admit it was a bit insulting.

Freya: There were four more movies because the last book was so big not everything fit in one movie.

Klaus: Really? Then we'll just have to destroy those too.

Elijah: (facepalms) *thinks* Why do I live with them?

Well. This is probably a good place to end movie night.

 So, those are all the vampire movies I've seen. There are three more Underworld movies, and fifth one is being released next year. I would actually recommend any of the movies. 

 And I promise I'll post an actual story next time.
