I am from the Zulmet kin of the monster kingdom.. also known as the scarecrow of the Alpha Ruins. My duty here to narrate the past and memories of your lovely heroes here.
Today it will be about Mettaton and how things turned out the way you saw. Now listen carefully...
It all started in Waterfall.
"Blooky.. do echo flowers dance?" A little pink ghost said to her cuzen who's been floating around with her "n-no.... don't think they can" "But look over there!" She pulls him over behind the bushes spying on an echo flower that was bigger than any echo flowers on the Waterfall. Never realized that it was a human girl with a blue tutu dress, a ballet clothes that looked exactly like an echo flowers! The human girl was dancing and jumping around with different posses, the little pink ghost thought it was strange thing to dance without a melody.
"Hapstablook.. we shouldn't peak at people... it's r-rude"
"I'm not peaking, I'm passing by"
With this, whenever Hapstablook's cuzen have an errand, she would gaze around looking for that echo flower dancer. She was always there doing these weird poses and dance without melody. Hapsta then comprehends from the monsters around the area that it was no more than a human girl. When she found out about this fact, she became more fantasized by the humans and their culture. And somewhat relieved that she's not been caught by the Royal Guards.
"Hapsta, don't you want to posses a body yet?" Napstablook asked her one day.
"No, not at all... nothing here is good enough to satisfy my desires"
"O-oh.......... not even the dummies?"
"Ewww no, don't even mention that again! I will never posses and leave you be" she said as she nuzzles him, he was happy to this fact. Since their cousin left the farm recently to become a training dummy. They were alone but have each other. You already know the Blooks kin are all bunch of ghosts and they could be invincible monsters who can not be harmed, but they also can't cause much damage to their opponents. Add to that, they can't resist inhabiting to a materialized body which can make their magic stronger. However, by inhabiting any body, their soul link to the inhabited body and they won't be able to leave it. They will forever remain inside it and takes direct damage as they get any direct hit.
For the Blook's, choosing an inhabitant body is an eternal life and death decision that can't be changed.
One day, the human dancer girl was about to get caught by the Royal Guards, she fled away without a desire to fight. But in Hapsta's eyes it was an outstanding retreat as the human girl jumps with high distance. Days past, Hapsta couldn't find that human girl, she was engulfed by sadness. She didn't have enough of that human and desired for more.
