Brainwashed (Part 2)

One Shot #26 (Cont.)

Moana's POV

Four hours later...

I wake up from my much needed nap feeling refreshed and much more alert. As I get my eyes focused, I can see Tamatoa staring at me with a smile on his face. I blush from the attention he's giving me. "Were you watching me sleep?" I rarely see Tamatoa blush, but his face turns crimson red. "Guilty as charged. I promise you I've only been watching for a little while. I'm not a stalker." I giggle. "I know. Thanks for letting me sleep. I feel better now." "I'm glad to hear that. I have some business to take care of so I'm going to be gone for a few hours, but I'll see you later." I smile and plant a kiss on his cheek. "See you later babe." I watch him crawl out of the cave and wonder where he's heading to.

Maui's POV

I stand on the entrance on Lalatoi and wait for Tamatoa to meet me. I know that he kidnapped Moana, though what he did to her remains unknown to me. What I do know is that I'm going to kill him. I do that stupid little dance to open the entrance and out crawls Tamatoa with a smirk on his face. "I know you have Moana, don't even bother shitting with me." He laughs evilly. "Yes Maui, I have her. I've had her for five months. It's so sad that you never came back for her sooner. In fact, she doesn't even remember your little adventure across the sea." I glare at him. "What about you talking about?" He snorts. "I hate to break it to you, but Moana doesn't remember anything about you other than you being the villain that stole the heart of Te Fiti. You're not her best pal and you're certainly not going to be her lover."

I take a step back in horror, but try to mask it. "What do you mean by that?" Tamatoa rolls his eyes. "You think I never noticed how you stared at her with puppy dog eyes, silently longing for her touch. Well guess what, she only longs for mine. She also believes I'm her husband." I shift into hawk form and attempt clawing his eyes out. Tamatoa uses a claw and flicks me off, causing me to hit the ground and shift back into my normal form. "I'm going to be honest with you Maui, you chose a good mortal girl to drool over because over time, even I developed some feelings for her."

"I'm going to fucking kill you Tamatoa if it's the last thing I do. I'm also going to restore Moana's memory." "Hate to break it to you Maui, but I have Moana's memory stored in a magical gem somewhere you'll never even think to find it. You'll have to go through me to get to Moana." I shove him with all my strength and Tamatoa goes flying off the edge. "Gladly." I jump down into Lalatoi head first, heading to Tamatoa's lair. I'm going to restore Moana's memory and when I do, I'm going to finally tell her how I feel.
