Harvard Soccer (Part 13)

One Shot #36 (Cont.)

 Moana's POV

A few days later...

I survived my first week of college classes, got a part time job at an on campus cafe, and managed to help the soccer team win our very first game of the season. I owe it all to Melody and Maui. They have been my rocks through these very stressful few weeks. They've put up with my mood swings and all with such grace. I hope I can do the same in their time of need. I really need to stop doubting myself and my abilities so much. It's not good for me to be so negative about everything. I'm sure that throughout college, I'm become more confident. Well that's the hope anyway.

Despite all of the challenges and hectic schedule that's been placed upon me, I'm the happiest I've ever been. I finally have a true best friend and an incredible boyfriend. If you had asked me a year ago if I'd ever date my coach, I'd look at you as if you were insane. Now, I couldn't imagine myself with anyone but Maui. One of the major reasons I fell in love with him is because he just gets me. He knows what I love, what I need, and how I feel right off the bat with little to no questions ask. As for our love, I know it's true. I haven't been presented with any reasons as to how it isn't. To all of the girls out there reading this, I promise you that one day you will find the love of your life. It may take a long time but once you find it, you too will see that it was worth the wait.

Hoped that you guys liked this one shot! Also, I just wanted to tell those who keep asking if my original story is up, it is. It's titled Letting Go Is Easier Said Than Done. I have the first few chapters up and will continue to update. As for the one shots, I will continue to go at them until I absolutely run out of ideas. Though every time I feel like I'm running out of ideas, I manage to come up with more based on both suggestions as well as thoughts that pop into my head. Please be sure to check out my original story. I feel as though people aren't really interested in it because it's not Moana related. -Mary
