Moana's POV

Time skip... A week later...

   I'm currently making lunch for both Maui and I when he wheels himself into the kitchen looking a bit nervous. Him biting his lip and picking his nails are the dead giveaways. "Maui, are you okay?" Maui puts on a fake smile. "I'm fine Moana." I raise an eyebrow and sigh. "Maui... I know you. You're not fine. What's running through that complex mind of yours?" He sighs back. "I wanted to ask you about something, but it's really stupid. I know you wouldn't want to go with me to it." I bend down and hold his hands in mine. "Ask me anyway. I'm sure I'd love to go." 

   Maui gazes into my eyes for a moment before speaking again. "I was wondering if you would... if you wanted to... be my date to Adam's cousin Danielle's wedding next week." I squeal like the fangirl that I am. "A wedding? I've never been to one, but I've always wanted to attend one. I'd love to be your date to it." Maui begins to relax a bit, probably relieved that I said yes. "I'm so glad to hear that. I'll have Adam take you shopping for some new clothes. Not that your clothes aren't nice, but I've heard that girls like to update their wardrobe from time to time." I giggle and nod my head vigorously. 

    Maui chuckles. "I'll have Adam take you to the mall tonight. I know you can drive, but you deserve to have someone drive you for a change. You do so much for me love. It's the least I can do to repay you for that." I place a hand on Maui's cheek, cupping it gently. "You're not just a job to me Maui, you're so much more. You're my boyfriend who I've happened to fall very hard for." Maui blushes, takes a hand of mine, puts it up to his lips, and kisses it. "You're such a gem Moana. They don't make girls like you anymore." I blush, take his hand, put it to my lips, and kiss it back. "Same goes to you Maui. They don't make guys like you anymore." 

Hoped that you guys liked this part of this one shot! Sorry I'm posting so late. I went to see Beauty And The Beast tonight. It was amazing. <3 :) -Mary
