Maui's POV
I don't know what the hell came over today at practice. I'm pretty sure I crossed ten different lines doing and saying what I did to Moana. God she must think I'm a pervert. I'll apologize to her tomorrow at practice. I owe her that. It's still early in the evening so I decide to run some quick errands such as getting gas, going grocery shopping, and mailing some bills. Ugh adult stuff. Adult stuff sucks. Well except for sex. Sex is great. I wouldn't know though anymore because I've been single for six years now. It's sad but true. I got my heart broken around this time six years ago by a girl I thought I was destined to marry. We were high school and college sweethearts but a year after I graduated college (I graduated a year before her), I found out she cheated on me with a rich asshole. Go figure.
I'm okay now though. I've gotten used to the single life. Though, there's a problem as you've probably noticed, is I'm a little attracted to Moana. MOANA. My youngest girl on the team. She's only eighteen years and I'm thirty two, about to be thirty three in a month. I need to control myself. I don't want to lose this job. It's the best job I've ever had. I also love the faculty at Harvard. I spend a lot of time with most of them at various sports and university related events. In all fairness, Moana seems to be slightly attracted to me too. I can tell she tries to hide it, but the blush on her face and the way she bites her lip on the side reveals it all. She feels it too. There's a spark between us. I know it's wrong, but it feels so right, which is why that if I find out she wants to pursue this, I won't stop her.
