 Maui's POV

Three days later... 

  Today's move in day for the Harvard freshman so I gave the freshman girls, which is half of the team, the day off. I have another surprise for Moana though besides helping her get Melody as her roommate. I'm going to be helping the girls move in, as their coach of course. I'm not ready for anyone to find out about her and I yet, especially her parents. Moana texted me her dorm building and room number a few minutes ago. She's in the Smith building, room 212. Obviously, she's on the second floor. I walk up a huge flight of stairs, down the hall, and take a right, arriving at her room. I see that she's sitting on the bed surrounded by a bunch of boxes. Melody has yet to arrive. 

   Moana notices me lingering in the doorway and immediately jumps up, wrapping me in a warm embrace. "Maui! What are you doing here?" I smile at her excitement. "I'm here to check on you and help my girl move in of course. Where's Melody?" "She told me she's on her way. Move in lasts for another four hours so I'm not too worried." I nod. "How much more stuff do you need to move in?" Moana's gaze flickers to the ground quickly. "I've already moved in everything. My parents were hasty to get rid of me and have the house to themselves. I mean they were sincere in helping me, but I've always been a bother to them." 

   I can see the tears teasing Moana's gorgeous eyes and I wipe them away soon after they fall. "Maui, I'm scared... I've never been away from home before. Plus, I have to start from scratch. I'm no longer the superstar student. I'm just...ordinary." She begins to sob and I pull her towards me without a second thought. I pat her back gently and wait until she lets it all out before saying my thoughts. I tilt her head with two fingers to get her to look into my eyes. "Moana, listen to me. You're so far from ordinary. You're extraordinary. You're so talented in everything that you do. You should see the way the other girls on the team look at you, including Melody. They watch you in awe. They strive to be both the soccer player and person that you are. Not only that, but you're also every positive trait in the book and drop dead gorgeous." 

    An adorably cute giggle escapes from her mouth as she leans her head on my shoulder. "Oh Maui, you always know the right thing to say." I bow playfully. "It's a gift." I look around the room and see just how many boxes Moana has to unpack. "Listen princess, can I help you unpack? I'll help Melody too when she gets here. I figure with both of us doing it instead of just you, this room will be easier to move around and will free you up for the rest of the day." Her frown turns into a small smile. "That'd be great Maui. Thank you." I kiss her on the cheek. "You're very welcome Moana." 

  Half an hour later...

   Melody shows up so I have to minimize my physical contact with Moana, though she's very grateful for my help to her and Moana. I'm glad that Moana got her closest friend on the team as a roommate. I can tell that these girls need each other more than they realize. 

Two hours later...

   All of Moana and Melody's belongings are unpacked and organized properly. I sit down at Moana's desk chair for a few minutes to catch my breath before slowly making my way out. As I go to get up, Moana puts her hand on my arm, silently pleading to have a word with me. I smile and wave goodbye to Melody and head out into the hall with Moana. She then pulls me into the stairwell and begins kissing with me with nothing but pure lust. I must say it's pretty hot and turning me on immensely. When we pull apart, a shaky breath leaves my mouth. "Wow Moana, that was incredible. There was so much love in that kiss. It was the best I've ever had. Thank you for that." She then kisses me on the cheek. "You're welcome Maui. I have some orientation events to attend this afternoon but I'm free for dinner tonight, well that is if you are." I smile fondly at her. "I'm free tonight for dinner and I know the perfect place. I'll come by around seven. Does that sound good?" Moana bites her lip in that incredibly sexy way she often does. "Sounds good Maui. By the way, I love you." I pull her forehead towards me and kiss it. "I love you too. See you tonight." 

    With that being said, I make my way out of the dorm building and to my car, in which I drive down to the city to pass the time. Ugh, can it just be tonight already? 

Hoped that you guys liked this part of this one shot! By the way, I have some semi good news. I start physical therapy on Monday. It'll help strength my legs and get the proper diagnosis of this issue (I've had two issues attributing to my crappy health lately). By the way, thank you for over 29,000 reads. I'm so happy because I didn't think these one shots would be successful like the original Moana fanfic of mine, but I'm glad to have been proven wrong. In addition, these one shots will be updated daily, but I also want to get going on my original story as well. I'll be alternating between working on the two. The first few chapters for my original story have been prewritten so that's why that story may have more than one update today. This will be my only update for these one shots today. I'm super tired to come up with any more thoughts that aren't written down on paper in advance. I'll update these again tomorrow. I love you guys <3   :) -Mary
