Part Of Your World (Part 13)

One Shot #35 (Cont.)

Moana's POV

A week later...

Maui and I and Ariel and Eric decided to go out on a double dinner date in a random village we've stopped in for a couple of days to explore. After all, that's the whole purpose of this adventure is to see new places and make special memories. Ariel and I are helping each other get ready for the date. It's so nice to be sharing this time in life with the world's greatest sister. Ariel's my best friend. I don't know what I'd do without her. As I stare in the mirror at both of us in our classy dresses, makeup, heels, etc, I'm truly in awe. We look really different, but in a good way.  Ariel smiles and puts her head on my shoulder. "We look amazing." I smile back. "I know. Let's go show the boys." Ariel giggles. "They better be drooling when they see us or we're coming right back here." "Sounds like a plan." I loop my arm in hers and we playfully skip towards them.

As we get closer to Maui and Eric, both of them stare at us in a mix of shock, admiration, and affection. I stand in front of Maui while Ariel stands in front of Eric. Maui's lips graze my ear gently. "You look absolutely breath taking Moana." I blush profusely. "Thank you Maui. You look amazing." He blushes back in response. We watch Eric and Ariel have their adorable exchange before we head to the cafe overlooking the ocean. It's the perfect venue for our group date, especially since all four of us adore the ocean. When we're seated, I look at all of them for guidance.

"Hey this may sound silly, but we should get something we all can split. I feel like that's only proper for a group date." Everyone smiles and nods in agreement, which makes me feel a little less stupid for suggesting it. We end up deciding to get a massive assortment plate of sandwiches with a giant bag of sour cream and onion chips. For drinks, Ariel and I got iced teats while Maui got a banana smoothie and Eric got a hot Vanilla Chai latte. We talk for over two hours about everything from our childhoods to the adventures we've been on before we met one another as well as our ones going on right now. It's truly a wonderful night.

Hoped that you guys liked this part of this one shot! I'm sorry that work has been keeping me so busy these past couple days. I have my last hell shift of the week tomorrow thankfully. In addition though, I have a serious medical issue that's going on right now and after work, I've been spending a lot of time at the doctor's office, urgent care, etc.  -Mary
