The Girl Who Has Everything And The Guy Who Has Very Little (Part 6)

One Shot #28 (Cont.)

Maui's POV

 Two days later...

So I managed to write the first half of the scene and I sent it to Moana a few minutes ago by email. I really hope she likes it. As promised, it has a lot of drama with a slight touch of romance. I'm not going to lie, I did put a kissing portion in. Though, I won't force Moana to kiss me if she doesn't want to. I doubt she would want to. I mean she's her and I'm well... me. Anyways the plot is based on Moana being a single girl in the Big Apple, like she is now, but she's older and has been in a serious relationship. The dramatic aspect of it is her former boyfriend died of brain cancer two years ago and she feels guilty for having moved on and wanting to be with another man. That man being me of course. The more I reread what I wrote, the more I realize that I wrote this scene based on my romantic aspirations. I hope she doesn't catch on to that. I don't think she will. She'll probably just think I got inspired by Nicholas Sparks. Don't tell anyone, but Nicholas Sparks happens to be one of my favorite authors. He just writes so well and his plots are truly captivating.

An hour later...

An email notification goes off. I smile when I see it's from Moana. I open it up and it reads the following: Maui, this is absolute perfection. Seriously, I've never seen writing so good. I can't wait to add my touch to the second half of the scene. I'll have it ready in two days and then we can start rehearsing it in three, giving us a week to get it down. Does that sound good? -Moana

I decide to text Moana a response, knowing that it would be quicker. I text the following: I'm so glad you liked it. I was worried that you'd cringe at the amount of cliches that I happened to throw in there. I look forward to reading your half of the scene. I'll see you tomorrow in school. :) -Maui

I noticed that she didn't say anything about the kissing part. I'll ask her before we rehearse the scene to be safe. I don't want to spring it on her like that. If I kissed her and she backed away in disgust and/or had a panic attack, I'd never be able to show my face in school again, especially not to her. I'm trying my best not to let my inner demons get to me, but that's easier said than done.

Hoped that you guys liked this part of this one shot! :) -Mary
