The Devil With A Shotgun (Part 2)

One Shot #31 (Cont.)

Maui's POV

I run like my life depends on it from the police. I'm not going back to jail. It's a cold and lonely place. Now you're probably wondering what my motive was for shooting students and professors at a college. Well you see, a few years ago, I was in the process of applying for college after taking a gap year to figure out what I wanted to do in life. I'm twenty six by the way. Anyways, no college thought I was good enough to attend there so I decided to get my revenge the best way I knew I could, by destroying them somehow. I applied to ten colleges, Hadford University being one of them. Hadford University is the eighth college of the ten that I've gotten my revenge on as of today. I'm doing a pretty good job. I bet I can get it on the last two as well.

I get through the clearing of the woods and jump into my getaway car, which is a white minivan. No I am pervert who lures young children into my van to give them "candy" and "ice cream." I may come across as a sicko, but I don't harm children. I have a soft spot for them. I don't konw why, but I do. If I were to guess, it's probably because of their innocence.

As I drive away, I can't help but wonder why I didn't shoot that smartass girl. She just seems so different from the rest. If it were under different circumstances, I would have asked for her name and number. The plus is I know where she attends college so I can always sneak back on campus in disguise to try and find her again. I happen to be quite the sneak. I really do want to find her again. No one has ever had the balls to stand up to me before, especially young girls. I'm going to wait a week or so for the chaos to die down and then I will go back. Though this time, I won't shoot up the place. Today's work was satisfactory enough in my eyes.
