Maui's POV
Time Skip...Six months later...
Here we are six months later and all of us are still sailing the world, continuing to live life to the fullest. In addition, Moana and I are still dating as are Ariel and Eric. Before we all met each other, we had a missing puzzle piece in our stories, but now, not anymore. At least that's how I feel. My missing puzzle piece all along has been true love. I've always had success for the most part, powers, immortality, etc, but never true love until Moana came along. I'm so in love with her. I make sure to tell her that every single day. Though, I waited until our one month anniversary to say it for the first time. I didn't want to rush our relationship and scare her off.
As for Ariel and Eric, they're adorably lovesick puppies fawning over one another constantly. Eric's my best friend and I'm truly happy that he finally got himself a decent girl, but I want to shift it back over to Moana and I. Moana is absolutely incredible. I love not only her, but everything about her. She has a huge heart, loves her family so much, is smart, kind, funny, adventurous, brave, beautiful, and so many other positive traits. I've never been most of those things, though Moana has helped to make me a better man. I no longer live with the guilt of my past mistakes such as stealing the heart of Te Fiti and breaking Tamatoa's leg. We even went to Lalatoi last month and the silly crab and I made amends. We're not besties but we're no longer enemies. It's nice having one less enemy in the world.
In closing, I'll leave you with this the following statement. Moana, Ariel, Eric, and I are taking things one day at a time. We're not longer stressing over the little things, though thinking about our future nonetheless. I know that my future is going to have Moana in it, hopefully until the end of eternity because let's face it, that girl is too damn special to ever let go.
