Ariel's POV

 As we all sail to the island that Maui is going to be pulling up, we're all learning so much about one another. It's crazy. I just met Eric, but I've never connected to a guy more in my life. When I talk to him, he actually listens, asks insightful questions, and is quite intelligent. I've been searching for a guy like that for years. My brain keeps saying "Where have you been all my life?" I think Moana feels the same way towards Maui. The two of them were even on top of each before. They don't know that I saw that, but I sure did. These guys have some potential in my eyes. Moana and I will be sure to give it some more time though. Eric is only a few years older than I am, but Maui is thousands of years older than Moana. I tend to baby Moana a lot, but she's my sister and I love her. If any guy were to break her heart, I'd make sure they payed the price. 

Moana's POV

  Maui is honestly so incredible. Despite the few mistakes he's made like stealing the heart of Te Fiti, he's learned from them and become a better man and demigod. He's pulled up hundreds of islands, saved people from all sorts of threats, slayed monsters, visited with gods, and so much more. He's definitely seen more of the world than I have. After he pulls up this island, I hope him and Eric want to spend more time with us. Though honestly, I doubt they will. Maui's a demigod and Eric is a prince. Both of them have important duties to attend to that don't involve sailing around with two mermaids. 

    Speaking of Maui, he's been talking with Ariel and Eric for the past hour, but it seems as though their conversation is coming to an end because he's walking towards me. I pretend like he's not there because I don't want to burden him with my silly feelings. "Moana, are you okay?" I plaster on a smile. "I'm fine Maui." He studies my face carefully. "Yeah, I'm not buying that. What's on your mind?" I sigh. "It's silly Maui." Maui takes me by surprise and cups my face, forcing me to look straight into my eyes. "Tell me." I take a deep breath. "I'm sixteen years old and I've hardly down anything with my life. I've barely seen the world, never had any real friends besides my sister Ariel, and still have yet to find love. Mermaids in our kingdom normally wed around Ariel's age. That means I'm only two years away from having to find someone." 

  Maui's lips graze my ear. "Well let me tell you this. I think you're incredibly beautiful and any guy who doesn't see that is a fool. I have faith you'll find the right guy when you're least expecting it. As for seeing the world, when I'm done pulling up the island, Eric and I will take you to see some of the world. We'll sail for months even. Whatever you girls want." I nearly cry tears of happiness. My two wishes are coming true, going to see the world and spending more time with Maui. I throw myself into his arms. "THANK YOU, THANK YOU,THANK YOU!"  He chuckles. "You're very welcome Moana. Now please, get some rest. You've had a long day." I nod and lay down in the corner of the boat. As I fall asleep, I feel a blanket being placed over me and smile like a dork.
